He is usually but not always, portrayed as living a comfortable, or even pampered life,

while Jerry, whose name is not explicitly mentioned in his debut appearance, is a small, brown house mouse who always lives in close proximity to Tom.
Jerry is a clever and quick-witted mouse who lives in the same house. He survives by using intelligence rather than strength. Jerry is playful, calm under pressure, and always manages to outsmart Tom with creative solutions. His small size works to his advantage, helping him escape tricky situations easily.

Despite being very energetic, determined and much larger, Tom is no match for Jerry’s wits. Jerry possesses surprising strength for his size, approximately the equivalent of Tom’s, lifting items such as anvils with relative ease and withstanding considerable impacts.

Episode 1:

Title: The Midnight Snack Chase

On a quiet midnight, the house sleeps while the clock ticks steadily in the background. Suddenly, a delicious scent of fresh, golden cheese fills the air. Jerry, the clever little mouse, peeks out of his hole and spots the perfectly sliced cheese sitting on the kitchen counter.

Carefully avoiding every creaky tile, Jerry sneaks across the floor, climbs up using a hanging cloth, and successfully grabs the cheese. Just as he celebrates his lucky find—

SLAM!

Tom wakes up.

The moment he sees Jerry holding his cheese, his sleepy eyes turn sharp. Within seconds, he switches into full chase mode.

What follows is a classic Tom and Jerry chase scene—fast, chaotic, and hilarious.

Jerry dashes through the kitchen while Tom crashes behind him, knocking over cups and plates. Jerry cleverly escapes through a toaster, popping out safely, while Tom gets his face hilariously toasted trying the same trick. The chase continues across the table, under a rolling pin, and even up to a swinging chandelier.

The action builds until—

CRASH!

Both fall.

Jerry lands safely, still holding the cheese. Tom ends up tangled in the chandelier.

For a brief moment, things calm down. Jerry even shares a small piece of cheese with Tom, leading to a rare peaceful pause between the two rivals.

But it doesn’t last.

As Jerry hides the remaining cheese, Tom notices. The tension returns instantly.

And just like that—

the iconic chase begins again.
